The alienated father/son duo reluctantly team up to rebuild and train a scrap‐heap robot and turn it into a boxing contender. As stakes in the brutal, no‐holds‐barred fighting arenas are raised, against all odds Charlie gets one last shot at a comeback, and Max discovers that, win or lose, life holds more for him than he ever expected.
My family and I got the chance to go to a screening of Real Steel last Wednesday evening. I wasn't sure what the movie was about, so I watched the trailor of it a couple of days before we went. I was a little nervous about going because I wasn't really sure how my four GIRLS would like it. Afterall, it is a movie about boxing robots.
Take a look at the preview.
This movie was not disappointing at all. We had a great time and my girls LOVED it. And I really mean, they LOVED it! I have heard several "can we watch the robot movie again?" It was funny, full of action and the story was so original and great. There are a few places where the language is iffy so I am taking off one star for that but nothing else threw it off. All in all our family gave Real Steel 2 thumbs up and 4 out of 5 stars, minus the one for language.
So be sure to take your family this month to Real Steel. In Theaters October 7th!
Be sure to follow Real Steel on Facebook.
